Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good printing even when a cleaning procedure is not performed during continuous operation for a long time by providing a pair of dusting units equipped with buffing rolls arranged, opposed to each other, on both faces of newspaper and a vacuum suction means in the upstream side of a pair of rubber cylinders.
SOLUTION: A pair of dusting units 7 is structured of an air suction chamber 10 shaped outwardly almost like a box respectively, the air suction chamber 10 having an air suction aperture 10a formed at a position in proximity to a newsprint S. Inside the air suction chamber 10, a buffing roll 8 is retained in a freely rotatable manner so that the roll 8 slides into contact with the newsprint S through the air suction aperture 10a. Further, the dusting units 7 are equipped with a vacuum suction means 9 respectively and the sticking dust removing slit part 11 of the vacuum suction means 9 is made to approach or brought into contact with the outer peripheral face 8a of the buffing roll 8 to suck/remove dust sticking to the buffing roll 8.
