Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceiling embedded type air conditioner adapted to an environment having small number of components by providing a smooth operation of vertically moving a suction grill with a simple structure.
SOLUTION: The ceiling embedded type air conditioner having a unit body 2 including a heat exchanger 3 and a blower 5 and embedded in a ceiling 1 and a decorative panel 7 including a suction grill 10 provided at a lower part comprises a rotary drum 12 forward or reversely rotatably driven at the panel 7, a motor 21 for forward or reversely rotatably driving the drum 12, and a wire 13 wound at one end on the drum 12 and fixed at the other end to the panel 7 to vertically movably support a suction grill 8. In this case, the wire 13 can be removed at four corners of the grill 8.
