Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hull outer shell construction of vessel which is high in cruising performance during cruising and low in rolling and pitching and high in stability as compared with its displacement during anchorage.
CONSTITUTION: An extension 11 extended through a bow side 5 to a stern side 6 and protruded outward from both the sides 8 with a specified thickness is provided on both the sides 8 of an offshore work barge 1 below a draft line S. Then these extensions 11 are extended below a vessel's bottom 2 to form a stationary water area 13 under the vessel's bottom 2.
