Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve such a problem that it is difficult to measure an electric resistance value of a work-piece while applying a DC large current in the work-piece.SOLUTION: An ohmic heating device 1 heating a work-piece 4 by applying a DC current to the work-piece 4, comprises: an electrode pair including a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 3 respectively connected with both end parts of the work-piece 4; a power supply device 5 that is a power supply for the DC current to be applied to the work-piece 4; bus bars 6 and 7 connecting between the electrode pair and the power supply device 5; a battery tester 9 measuring an electric resistance value of the work-piece 4; and a control device 8 preliminarily storing the correlation between the electric resistance value of the work-piece 4 and a temperature. The power supply device 5 and the bus bars 6 and 7 are arranged so that a direction of currents flowing in the bus bars 6 and 7 and a direction of a current flowing in the work-piece 4 have a twisted relation. The electric resistance value of the work-piece 4 is measured by the battery tester 9. The control device 8 estimates the temperature of the work-piece 4 from the measured electric resistance value of the work-piece 4, by using the preliminarily-stored correlation between the electric resistance value of the work-piece 4 and the temperature.
