Title:
OIL ABSORBABLE BUILDING MATERIAL, OIL CONTENT GENERATING EQUIPMENT AND KITCHEN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001039783
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To keep beautiful appearance of a wall or a ceiling for a long period of time without wiping off oil content by executing a graze on the surface of an oil absorbable building material body.

It is important to control the area to be treated with a glaze or thickness of the glazed area so as to obtain a glazed building material capable of maintaining high oil-absorbing performance. That is, it is preferable that the ratio of the surface of a glass layer formed by glazing to the surface of an oil absorbable building material body is not more than 90% or the maximum thickness of the formed glass layer is controlled to be not more than 300 μm. As the glaze, a slurry obtained by simply mixing frit and water and having a specific gravity of 1.01 to 1.90 can be used or a slurry obtained by further adding clay or a pigment to the slurry mentioned above can be used. This oil-absorbable building material is preferably used as a material being stuck on the wall or the ceiling of the room having oil-generating sources such as a kitchen. In the case when the oil- absorbable building material is executed onto the wall or the ceiling in the vicinity of a gas range, even when the oil component generated at the time of cooking fixes on the surface, the oil component diffuses into the inside of the oil absorbable building material and the surface of the wall or the ceiling is prevented from being made sticky by the oil component.
