Abstract:

To provide an oil applying device to a rail reducing a cost of a device itself and a running cost with the simple constitution, easy in installation and maintenance, surely reducing a creak between a rail and a wheel at a curve point, and preventing abrasion of a flange part of the rail and the wheel.

This oil applying device is composed of a pressurizing type oil tank 1, an oil pump 2 for performing oil sending operation by tread pressure of the wheel by receiving supply of lubricating oil from the pressurizing type oil tank 1, and a nozzle 4 for delivering the lubricating oil on the rail by receiving supply of the lubricating oil from the oil pump 2. In a desirable embodiment, the oil pump 2 has a piston for vertically moving according to the tread pressure of the wheel, and forcibly sends a prescribed quantity of lubricating oil according to descending operation of the piston.
