To provide an oil-based solid cosmetic that has markedly excellent skin pore-covering effects compared with those by conventional spherical powders, is readily formed into a preparation with appropriate hardness, causes no color streaks and exhibits excellent serviceability.
An oil-based solid cosmetic includes (a) 2-8 mass% of a solid oil component and (b) 2-15 mass% of a fluorine-containing organic-modified clay mineral (particularly a fluorine-containing cation-modified clay mineral obtained by treating a fluorine-containing water-swellable clay mineral with a quaternary ammonium salt-type cationic surfactant). The oil-based solid cosmetic may further includes (c) a specific polyether-modified silicone, (d) a powdery component and the like.
