Title:
OIL BURNING APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3717891
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constant reassuring usage in extinction of an oil burning appliance by providing a large distance between an upper hole and a lower hole, and providing further positive extinction and shortening the extinction time.
SOLUTION: The oil combustor is provided with a vertically movable wick 4 in a wick guide cylinder comprising a wick guide inner cylinder 2 and a wick guide outer cylinder 3. A heat chamber is placed on a wick case part 5 of a wick guide cylinder upper end. A recessed part 10 is formed on a wick upper end so that an ignition position of a maximum raised point is lower than the wick casing part 5, and a ventilation hole 21 closed during normal combustion and opened during extinction to supply cooling air to the recessed part is provided on the wick guide outer cylinder 3 facing the recessed part in an extinction position of a wick maximum lowered point. The ventilation hole 21 is provided with the upper hole 22 provided above a wick 4 upper end position in the extinction position of the wick maximum lowered point, and the lower hole provided in a middle part position between a wick 4 upper end and a recessed part 10 bottom face.
