Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled briquette with low ash content useful as a fuel for a household stove, by adjusting oil coke powder to proper water content, pressing it by a primary press, blending it with polyvinyl alcohol and molding it by a secondary press.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Oil coke powder is adjusted to proper water content. The prepared oil coke powder is pressed by a primary press process. The oil coke powder is blended with 0.1W5wt% calculated as solid content of polyvinyl alcohol as an aqueous solution. The prepared blend is pressed and molded by a secondary press process. Then, the prepared molded article is dried, to give oil coke briquette.
