Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-containing resin composition for bearings which has a smooth surface, has a function wherein increase in sliding resistance caused by invasion of fine powders such as toners, etc., is inhibited and has a high mechanical strength enabling its use under high load and high speed conditions and an oil-containing resin bearing using this oil-containing resin composition.
SOLUTION: An oil-containing resin bearing 1 is molded using an oil- containing resin composition containing a lubricating oil, a polynorbornene elastomer as a lubricating oil-carrier, a zinc oxide whisker as a reinforcement filler and a polyacetal as a self-lubricating resin. This oil-containing resin bearing 1 has a high strength owning to the reinforcing effect of the zinc oxide whisker Furthermore, since a sliding part 2 has a high surface smoothness and a low surface hardness, it has high friction and wearing properties. Preferably, a metal powder is mixed as another reinforcing filler.
