Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter capable of reliably capturing fine metal powder that cannot be captured by an element, and avoiding an increase in size.SOLUTION: An oil filter includes: a first element 1 and a second element 2 each rolled into a cylindrical shape while folding a filter sheet, for filtering oil; an intermediate fixed plate 5 attached to end portions of the first element 1 and the second element 2; and a magnet 7 capable of adsorbing and capturing fine metal powder contained in the oil. The intermediate fixed plate 5 is obtained by molding a nonmagnetic material such as resin into a plate shape, and an attachment concave portion 5a into which the magnet can be attached is formed in the intermediate fixed plate 5.
