Abstract:
To provide a high-speed electric motor driving type oil-free compressor.
This oil-free compressor is provided with a housing 20, a shaft 12 rotatably provided in the housing, a compressor 10 having at least a single compressor wheel 14 integrally connected to the shaft, an electric motor 18 integrally connected to the shaft and having a rotor 16 for directly driving the compressor, and hydrodynamic foil bearings 26 and 28 lubricated by at least one oil-free air or process fluid for the shaft.
