Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-free screw compressor capable of being easily manufactured and suppressing deflection of a screw rotor.SOLUTION: A compressor 10 has: a screw rotor 14 including a screw portion 14a and a shaft portion 14c; a bearing 26; a first shaft seal device 30 disposed between the screw portion and the bearing, and including a first seal portion 38a and a first communication portion 30a for communicating a bearing side and an outer peripheral face to between the shaft portion and the first seal portion; a second shaft seal device 32 disposed between the first shaft seal device and the bearing, and including a second seal portion 32a and a second communication portion 32c for communicating a screw portion side and an outer peripheral face to between the shaft portion and the second seal portion, and a first seal member 50 including a seal portion between the first communication portion and the second communication portion. A casing 12 includes an atmospheric air communication portion 12m for communicating the first and second communication portions to the atmospheric air. A cross-sectional area of the first communication portion is larger than a cross-sectional area between the seal portion of the first seal member and the shaft portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
