Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce changes of the quantity of the return fluid irrespective of the temperature by arranging such that the area of the return liquid flow path at the time of the returning of the treadle arm is automatically adjusted according to the ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:In the closed state of a valve board 10, which is fitted in a vertically slidable rod 5 and closes fluid paths of a piston 3 by its own weight or with a spring pressure, part of the fluid paths 6 is utilized to form a return path for returning the fluid from an upper chamber 2A to a lower chamber 2B in a cylinder 2. When the ambient temperature is increased, a collar 8 is thermally expanded to reduce the width of an orifice 8A for reducing the area of the return path. When the ambient temperature is reduced, the collar 8 is contracted to increase the width of the orifice 8A for increasing the area of the return path. In this way, the variations of the return period due to the resistance offered to the fluid accompanying the viscosity changes of the fluid can be automatically adjusted.
