Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil immersion type solenoid capable of obtaining desired damping characteristics while eliminating the need of an air vent function.SOLUTION: An oil immersion type solenoid comprises: a casing; a movable core inserted into a hollow internal part of the casing in a freely slidable manner and formed from a magnetic substance; an exciting coil provided inside of the casing between the casing and the movable core; and a fixed core which is formed from a magnetic substance and provided in the casing while opposing the movable core so as to obtain the same axial center as that of the movable core. In the oil immersion type solenoid, a front chamber and a rear chamber which are provided by bisecting a space inside of the casing by the movable core and the inside of the casing are filled with hydraulic oil. The oil immersion type solenoid further comprises sealing means for sealing a through hole in the casing, the movable core includes a passage communicating the front chamber and the rear chamber and while the exciting coil is non-excited, a difference is set between cubic capacities of the front chamber and the rear chamber.
