To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified composition that comprises solid fat, being hard to stably compound, together with liquid oil, is stable with the lapse of time, exhibits excellent safety and is useful particularly for a cosmetic.

The oil-in-water type emulsified composition comprises the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) a hydrophilic polyglycerol fatty acid ester; (B) a biosurfactant (MEL is preferable in particular); (C) liquid oil having a melting point of lower than 30°C; and (D) an aqueous medium.
