PURPOSE: To obtain a stable emulsified composition having a pH near to the pH range of skin and good usability as an oil-in-water type emulsifier composition, by using N-acylated acidic amino acid and/or the salt thereof along with a higher fatty acid salt.
CONSTITUTION: As essential components of an oil-in-water type emulsifier composition, a salt of a 12W31C higher fatty acid such as lauric or myristic acid and/or that of a 12W36C dibasic acid such as decane dioic or dodecane dioic acid and an N-acylated acidic amino acid and/or the salt thereof are compounded to prepare an emulsifier composition having a pH of 4W7.4. By using this composition, an emulsified composition having a pH near to the pH range of skin and good stability and usability is obtained.
