Abstract:
To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which prevents the odor derived from astaxanthin raw materials and has excellent emulsion stability.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which comprises astaxanthin, an oil component, an enzyme-degraded lecithin, a predetermined sucrose fatty acid ester, a predetermined polyglycerol fatty acid ester, a water-soluble tea extract, vitamin E and/or its derivative and water, wherein the content rate of astaxanthin is 5.0 to 10.0 mass%, the content rate of the oil component is 20 to 50 mass%, the content of vitamin E and/or its derivative is 3 to 6 mass% and the content rate of the water-soluble tea extract is 0.3 mass% or more and 5.0 mass% or less based on the total mass of the oil-in-water type emulsion composition, the content rate of tea polyphenol is 80 mass% or more based on the total mass of the water-soluble tea extract and the tea polyphenol contains 10 mass% or more of at least one or more of epigallocatechin gallate or epigallocatechin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
