Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an oil in water type solid cosmetic excellent in usability and portability and remarkably excellent in refreshing feeling in use, affinity to the skin, natural finish and moisture retention.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an oil in water type solid cosmetic containing (a) a water-soluble solidification agent selected from agar-agar and gelatin, (b) an oily agent and (c) water, another oil in water type solid cosmetic containing (d) a powder in addition to the above-mentioned components and its forming method of the oil in water type solid cosmetic carried out by charging the oil in water type solid cosmetic into a vessel, making a hydratable sheet-shaped material to adhere to the surface of the cosmetic before solidification and removing it after cooling and solidification. According to this invented forming method, the inner structure of the cosmetic is exposed since the cosmetic surface exhibits a discontinuous phase. It is, therefore, easy to charge the cosmetic to an applicator. Consequently the obtained oil in water type solid cosmetic is excellent in usability.
