Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for surely preventing leakage of oil from a transformer.
CONSTITUTION: At a joint of two members on the housing 1 of a transformer T, for example, an oil leak part is cleaned and a coating, e.g. a paint, is removed therefrom. Subsequently, the joint is coated with a first sealing agent and a cap, filled with the first sealing agent, is applied to bolt/nut parts 6, 7. Thereafter, flange parts 4, 5 are coated with the first sealing agent and a sealing body is stuck to the upper surface before a second sealing agent is applied thereto.
