Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level detector and an air conditioning apparatus capable of improving the reliability of pressure resistance of the oil level detector and of accurately detecting an oil level.
SOLUTION: There are provided an oil return pipe 21a connected to an oil detection level position A of a high pressure container body 12a and communicated to a low pressure side. The oil return pipe includes a flow passage resistor 24a, a first temperature sensor 101 provided downstream the flow passage resistor, and a third temperature sensor 103 provided upstream the foregoing flow passage resistor 24a. There is further provided control means 105 which detects an oil level L by making use of a fact that when oil is existent below the oil detection level position A, a detection temperature difference ΔT of the first and third temperature sensors 101 and 103 becomes larger compared with the case where oil is existent above the oil detection level position A.
