Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level sensor that prevents false detection by suppressing influence of flow in an oil pan while raising discharge performance of the oil from inside of a cover of the oil level sensor as high as possible.SOLUTION: An opening is provided to a side wall 30 of a cover 3 so that oil circulates inside and outside thereof. The opening is arranged in linear symmetry for the central axis X of the cover 3, and a ratio of the area of the opening in the side wall 30 to the non-opening area is 2:1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
