Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of keeping a lubrication state proper in simple constitution even for oil bath lubricating outer ring rotation bearings.
SOLUTION: This bearing device is provided with an oil lubricating outer ring rotation rolling bearing 1 and a part 9 which is adjacent to the outer ring 3 of this rolling bearing 1 and rotates together with the outer ring 3. An oil reservoir 6 is formed by the raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 3 and the inner diameter face adjacent to the raceway surface 3a. The oil reservoir 6 comprises a section, one side face of which is formed by the raceway surface 3a of the outer ring 3 and which has a V-shaped cross section and a section expanding to a weir section 10a from the former section. The outer ring 3 is installed in the rotary body 8 such as a wheel of rolling stock, pulley and gear, for example.
