PURPOSE: To obtain an oil mist filter efficiently absorbing oil mist and generating no dripping of absorbed oil by constituting a filter by supporting a crosslinked polymer obtained by polymerizing a specific oleophilic monomer component on a porous base material.
CONSTITUTION: A crosslinked polymer obtained by a monomer component consisting of 90-99.999wt.% of a monomer A (e.g. nonylphenyl acrylate) having one polymerizable unsaturated group in its molecule based on a monomer whose solubility parameter (SP value) is 9 or less and 0.001-10wt.% of a crosslinkable monomer B (e.g. 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate) having at least two polymerizable unsaturated group in its molecule (wherein the sum of the monomers A, B is 100wt.%) is supported on a porous base material (e.g. polypropylene nonwoven fabric). As a result, an oil mist filter efficiently absorbing oil mist and generating no dripping of absorbed oil or surface stickiness and having a available use period is obtained.
