Title:
OIL PAN STRUCTURE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005023882
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an oil pan structure for an internal combustion engine for producing the great effect of reducing radiative noises of an oil pan particularly on a sub-link engine in which high order inertial vibrating force is worsened.

The internal combustion engine having a piston 22 reciprocated in a cylinder comprises the oil pan 33 arranged at the lower part of the engine, an engine accessory part 15 for transmitting vibration caused by membrane resonance of the bottom face of the oil pan 33, and a vibration suppressing member 16 held between the oil pan 33 and the engine accessory part 15 for suppressing the vibration on the bottom face of the oil pan with hysteresis damping due to deformation.
