Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pressure control device that inhibits occurrence of biting of foreign matter in a spool of a solenoid valve.SOLUTION: An oil pressure control device 1 comprises a solenoid valve 3 that supplies hydraulic oil to an advance chamber 7 or a retard chamber 8 of a vane type valve timing regulating device and discharges the hydraulic oil from the advance chamber 7 or the retard chamber 8, and an ECU 4 that, by controlling an energization amount of the solenoid valve 3, controls reciprocating motion of a spool 10 to control an oil pressure difference between the advance chamber 7 and the retard chamber 8. The ECU 4, when either of plural ports 14, 16, 18, 22 is closed by the spool 10 through movement of the spool 10, increases a moving speed of the spool 10 if an opening gap formed between the spool 10 and the port 18 is smaller than a predetermined value. Because of this, a time in which the spool 10 exists in a region where the opening gap formed between the spool 10 and the port 18 is smaller than the predetermined value becomes short, and possibility of biting of foreign matter can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
