Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump device of an automatic transmission that can prevent consumption of waste energy by restraining workload of an oil pump when a vehicle speed is high, and that does not require complicated circuits, mechanisms and the like for controlling hydraulic pressure.SOLUTION: The device comprises: an axial piston pump 5 driven by rotational power of an engine; a centrifugal piston mechanism 7 coupled on an output shaft 44 of a continuously variable transmission 4, and having a piston 73 displaced in an axial direction by a centrifugal force applied to a sphere 71 that can move in a radial direction; and a swash plate interlock mechanism 6 for interlocking a swash plate 56 of the axial piston pump 5 with the piston 73 of the centrifugal piston mechanism 7, and reducing an angle of the swash plate 56 so that a pump emission amount gets smaller as a rotational speed of the output shaft 44 is higher.
