Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump drive structure capable of driving an oil pump arranged on an opposite side to a front cover side of a torque converter with respect to an input shaft.SOLUTION: On an opposite side to a front cover 11 side of a torque converter 2 with respect to an input shaft 41 of an automatic transmission 3, that is, a left side of the input shaft 41, an oil pump 4 is arranged. At a rotation center portion of a front part 16 of the front cover 11, an opening 18 is formed, and to the opening 18, a center piece 21 is fixed in a fitting state. The center piece 21 has a hollow structure opened to the oil pump 4 side, and is spline-fitted to one end part of a pump drive shaft 52 of the oil pump 4 inserted thereinside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
