Abstract:
To provide an oil pump structure in which the influence of the pulsation of oil upon a relief valve is reduced and, thus, the operation of the relief valve is stabilized.
In the oil pump structure, a bent part 11 for changing the flow direction of oil is formed in a discharge passage 9 of an oil pump. Also, a diverge passage 13 diverging from the discharge passage 9 of the bent part 11 is formed in such a manner that the flow direction becomes opposite to a flow direction P1 of the oil in a downstream discharge passage 9b, which is a discharge passage on the downstream side relative to the bent part 11. Then, the relief valve 14 is disposed in the diverge passage 13.
