Abstract:
To arrange a positioning means and a seal ring together on the coupling surface between a pump cover and a pump housing in order to secure coaxial degree of the pump cover and the pump housing without increasing numbers of components and assembling processes.
In an oil pump which stores an inner gear 5 and an outer gear 6 near the coupling surface between a pump cover 2 and a pump housing 3, and is formed by interposing a seal ring 4 between the coupling surfaces, the pump cover 2 has a projection 2p on the coupling surface with the pump housing 3, and the pump housing 3 has a ring-shaped groove 3f for engaging the projection 2p of the pump cover 2 and the seal ring 4 with the coupling surface with the pump cover 2.
