Title:
OIL RETAINING BEARING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3842611
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil retaining bearing capable of leaving a lubricant on a sliding face and preventing a motor from generating abnormal sound even when a heat shock works after elapse of a long time after stop of the motor.
SOLUTION: The oil retaining bearing 9 is constituted of a central bearing section 21, an upper end bearing section 22, and a lower end bearing section 23. A contact part 24 is protruded in the inner diametral direction in the vicinity of the boundary between the central bearing section 21 and the lower end bearing section 23, and the inner peripheral surface 24a of the contact part 24 is formed in a non-porous state. The level difference (a) of the contact surface 24a to the center bearing surface 21a is made smaller than the minimum oil film thickness (x) of the lubricant and the level difference (b) of the contact surface 24a to the lower end bearing surface 23a is made larger than the maximum oil film thickness (y) of the lubricant.
