Abstract:
To provide an oil scatter preventive device for an elevator capable of preventing certainly the oil from scattering to the surrounding area.
The oil scatter preventive device of the elevator includes a driving sheave 6 and a baffle wheel 8 which are covered with a cover 9. The cover 9 has a cover body 10 and rope ducts 11 and 12 extending downward from the cover body 10. To the cover body 10 an air exhaust device 13 to exhaust the air from inside the cover 9 is connected through a coupling duct 14. The exhaust device 13 is furnished with a filter 15 to purify the air exhausted from the exhaust device 13.
