Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil scattering suppression mechanism of passenger conveyor which can suppress oil scattering from between a step and a skirt guard.SOLUTION: In an oil scattering suppression mechanism of passenger conveyor, a passenger conveyor includes a plurality of steps and handrails. A plurality of multiple steps are connected in endless to move. The handrails have a skirt guard provided on the lateral side of the step. The oil scattering suppression mechanism includes a rubber sheet. The rubber sheet attached to the lower end portion of the skirt guard, which, while extending from the lower end of the skirt guard to the upper surface of the step, enters into the groove provided on the upper surface of the step. The thickness of the rubber sheet is formed equal to the width of the groove.
