Title:
OIL SEPARATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015166668
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence of variation in processing accuracy of a refrigerant inlet pipe of an oil separator, to enhance both a collision separation effect and a swirling separation effect with respect to a refrigeration machine oil simultaneously and to make path length of a swirl flow longer than a conventional one.SOLUTION: An oil separator 10 which separates a refrigeration machine oil contained in a gas phase refrigerant includes: a cylindrical pressure container 20; a refrigerant inlet pipe 11 for introducing a gas phase refrigerant containing a refrigeration machine oil into the pressure container 20; and a refrigerant outlet pipe 14 for discharging the gas phase refrigerant in which the refrigeration oil is separated. An angle α formed between a straight line along an opening direction of a delivery port 13 at a tip of the refrigerant inlet pipe 11 which is inserted into the inside of the pressure container 20 and a plane surface vertical to a central axis of the pressure container 20 is 45°≤α<90°.
