Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of reliably and stably holding an oil separation member.SOLUTION: An oil separator 30 includes an oil separator chamber 40 provided in a cylinder head cover 20 of an internal combustion engine 100 and including an introduction passage 42 having a blow-by gas introduction port 41 into which blow-by gas is introduced and a discharge passage 44 having a blow-by gas discharge port 43 from which the blow-by gas is discharged, a permeation type oil separation member 50 arranged between the introduction passage 42 and the discharge passage 44 so that the blow-by gas permeates from the upper direction to the lower direction, for separating oil from the blow-by gas, and a holding member 80 joined to the cylinder head cover 20 in the vertical direction for peripherally holding the oil separation member 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
