Abstract:
To prevent an imbalance mass of a balancer shaft from agitating oil.SOLUTION: From an inner wall surface of a standing wall 58 of a crank case 50 (oil pan 40), a partition wall 60 that projects from the lower side of a lower end portion of a rotation locus S of a second unbalancer mass 88 when a shaft body 82 of a balancer shaft 80 rotates protrudes. The partition wall 60 is connected to a side wall part 64 that faces the inner wall surface of the standing wall 58. By the inner wall surface of the standing wall 58, the partition wall 60, and the side wall part 64, a storage chamber 70 is sectioned in which the lower end portion of the rotation locus S of the second unbalancer mass 88 is located.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
