Title:
OIL STOVE WICK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013108705
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an oil stove wick that can reduce an extinguishing time on extinguishing.

The oil stove wick has such a structure that a center wick 13 made of glass fiber to be incorporated in a fiber part 12 comprising an inner fiber 17 and an outer fiber 18 is folded at upper and lower ends and is disposed with one folded end to be a top end 13a of the center wick and with the other folded end to be a rear end 13b of the center wick. Even when the top end 13a of the center wick 13 deforms by flames during burning and does not have enough force to press the inner fiber 17 and the outer fiber 18, the rear end 13b of the center wick 13 firmly presses the inner fiber 17 to a wick guide inner tube 2 and presses the outer fiber 18 to a wick guide outer tube 3. Thereby, no air is supplied from below a wick guide tube 4 to unburned gas in a space below near an inner tube slit, which can reduce an extinguishing time in an extinguishing operation.
