Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the sticking of toner on an oil coating roller by preventing the oil coating roller coating a fixing roller with oil from being electrostatically charged.
CONSTITUTION: An oil supplying device 14 supplying the fixing roller 1 of a fixing device with releasing silicone oil is constituted of the oil coating roller 5 coating the fixing roller with the oil, a cleaning roller 6 cleaning it and an oil supplying roller 7 supplying the coating roller with the oil. Then, the surface layer (outermost layer) of the oil coating roller 5 is formed of electrically conductive fluorinated resin. Thus, the triboelectric charge quantity of the oil coating roller 5 is reduced, so that offset toner on the fixing roller 1 is hardly stuck on the oil coating roller 5.
