Title:
OIL TANK FOR HYDRAULIC ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55115601
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of hydraulic system of an elevator, by providing a cooling means at an intermediate portion between a branch pipe and an oil tank, and thereby omitting an oil circulating pump diven by a motor which must be otherwise provided for cooling hydraulic oil. CONSTITUTION:In case that cage 11 is moved downward, oil from jack 8 is passed through main pipe 7, branch pipe 6 and cooling pipe 16 in cooler 17, with its flow being restricted appropriately by control valve 5, and returns to tank 1. When it is required to cool oil since its temperature is raised after long guse, oil is returned to tank 1 after it is cooled by control fan 14 when passing through cooling pipe 16 in cooler 17. Since cooler 17 is used in the above arrangement, it is not necessary to provide special motor and circulating pump for cooling hydraulic oil, so that the structure of hydraulic system can be simplified and, at the same time, maintenance and inspection of the system can be also simplified.
