Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil tank structure for an engine of a small planing boat effectively utilizing a space in an engine room and improved in the maintainability, etc., of the engine.
SOLUTION: In an engine 5 which takes out output of a crankshaft 18 arranged in a crankcase 13 through a drive shaft 20 arranged parallel to the crankshaft 18, a storage part 23 of the drive shaft 20 is formed to the projected toward the side of the crankcase 13, and the crankcase 13 is formed into L- shape in a plan view. Then, an oil tank 17 is arranged in a space surrounded by the side of the crankcase 13 and the storage part 23 of the drive shaft 20.
