Abstract:
To provide an oil trap type filter where the capturing performance of dust exhausted from a vacuum melting furnace is high and the failure frequency of a vacuum exhausting pump disposed at the downstream side of the filter is reduced since an oil in the filter is hardly scattered.SOLUTION: An oil trap type filter disposed in a route connecting a vacuum melting furnace to a vacuum exhausting pump includes: an upstream side passage passing an upstream side gas just after being exhausted from the vacuum melting furnace; an oil tank including a storage part storing an oil and an upper space at the upper part of the storage part inside and being disposed with an exhaust port so that an upstream side gas collides with the surface of the oil; and a downstream side passage where a downstream side gas exhausted from the upper space flows toward the vacuum exhausting pump. The oil is hardly scattered even when the upstream side gas collides with the surface of the oil since the flow rate of the upstream side gas becomes slow before colliding with the surface of the oil by being exhausted to the upper space from the exhaust port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
