To provide an oily composition which can prevent the clogging of a nozzle to enable a stable operation in a spinning process especially by a nozzle oiling method on the production of elastic fibers and has good daily stability and a good property for preventing the mutual agglutination of fibers over a long period.

This oily composition is characterized by comprising at least one base oil (A) selected from the group consisting of a silicone oil (A1) and a hydrocarbon-based lubricant (A2) and a higher fatty acid metal salt (B), and having a turbidity of ≤20 mg/L at 25°C.
