Abstract:
To improve an affinity between an inorganic filler and an olefin-based matrix resin in an olefin-based resin composite material containing an inorganic filler and solve defects in the conventional modification technology.SOLUTION: An olefin-based random copolymer is one for use in an olefin-based resin composite material containing an inorganic filler, includes (U1) a structural unit derived from one or more kinds of monomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene and a 3-5C α-olefin and (U2) a structural unit derived from one or more kinds of monomers selected from 5-20C α-olefin comonomers having a hydroxyl group, has a content of the structural unit (U2) of 0.5 mol% to 10 mol% based on 100 mol% of the total of the structural units and has a weight average molecular weight as measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of 40,000 to 500,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
