Title:
OLEFIN-BASED WAX PARTICLE DISPERSION FOR WRITING UTENSIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007056234
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an extremely stable wax dispersion even when formulated in an ink when an olefin-based wax is used.
This olefin-based wax dispersion for writing utensils is obtained by dissolving an olefin-based wax in a nonpolar medium, depositing wax particles in a solvent compatible with glycol ether to disperse the particles, and adding a dispersant during or after dispersing to coat the surface of the particles.
