Abstract:
To obtain a composition having an improved gas barrier property by enough finely dispersing a lamellar inorganic compound in an olefin polymer.
The olefin polymer composition is composed of (a) an olefin polymer, (b) a lamellar inorganic compound which is made organic with an organic cation containing a polar functional group in a molecule and (c) a polar polymer compatible with the olefin polymer (a) and having a polar functional group in a molecule. The lamellar inorganic compound (b) made organic has an interlaminar distance of 20 or more in the composition.
