Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:An ω-aminoalkoxybenzoylthiophene of formulaI[n is integer of 2W5; R is formula IIW formula IV (R1, R2 are H, 1W3C alkyl; m is 4, 5; the heterocyclic ring of formula III may be substituted with phenyl which may bear halogens and/or hydroxyls; R3 is alkyl which may bear hydroxyls, phenyl which may bear halogens)]and its acid adduct.
EXAMPLE: 2-{2-[3-(4-phenyl-1-piperazinyl)propoxy]benzoyl} thiophene.
USE: Antianxiety agent or tranquilizer.
PREPARATION: The reaction of an ω-halogenoakoxybenzoylthiophene of formula V (X is halogen) with an amine of R-H gives the compound of formulaI.
