Abstract:
To provide an omnidirectional conveyance device for carrying an object in any horizontal direction of which energy transfer loss of a power source is small.SOLUTION: An omnidirectional conveyance device for carrying an object on a conveyance surface in any horizontal direction comprises a conveyance part including a drive body rotating in a conveyance direction in the conveyance surface and a direction change part changing the conveyance direction of the conveyance part to any direction, and the drive body comprises a plurality of spheres, the conveyance part comprises the plurality of spheres, an intermediary drive body in a spherical shape driving the sphere and a driving source, the sphere can rotate freely in any horizontal direction on the conveyance surface, the intermediary drive body supports the plurality of spheres from below so as to rotate them, the driving source is connected to the intermediary drive body so as to rotate it and the direction change part turns the conveyance part in any horizontal direction by the driving source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
