Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the life of a barrel-shaped roller by heightening the strength of the end part in the longitudinal direction of the barrel-shaped roller easily damageable.
SOLUTION: A wheel structure 6 is formed by rotatably mounting plural barrel-shaped rollers 3 on the outer peripheral part of a rotating support 5 rotatably supported by a rotating shaft 4 in the direction orthogonal to the axis 4 of rotation of the rotating support 5. The plural wheel structures 6 are omnidirectional running wheels arranged in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 4 of the rotating support 5. The longitudinal end member 16 of the barrel- shaped roller 3 is formed by material having a higher rigidity than the longitudinal central member 17 of the barrel-shaped roller 3.
