Abstract:
To realize onboard equipment for the electronic toll collection system suitable for use on a motorcycle, small in size with the position of installation therefore not limited and enabling easy recognition of displays without changing the line of sight.
The onboard equipment communicating by radio with the roadside unit for electronic toll payment has a headup display projector 9 connected to the onboard equipment by an optical fiber cable 10, an optical connector 11, and an optical cable 11. Images from the onboard equipment 1 is projected on the inside surface of the sun visor 13 of the helmet 12 worn by the motorist. A radio communication means may replace the optical fiber cable 10.
