This onboard machine control device includes a portable machine 200 portable by a user, and the vehicle side unit communicably with the portable machine 200 by radio transmission, mounted on a vehicle 100 and controlling an onboard machine. The portable machine 200 includes an acceleration sensor 240 for detecting the movement of the portable machine 200, a storage part 250 for storing determining information for determining whether a user possessing the portable machine 200 is moving, a CPU 230 for determining whether the user possessing the potable machine 200 is moving based on a detecting result of the acceleration sensor 240 and the determining information stored in the storage part 250, and a transmission part 220 for transmitting a request signal of requesting control of the onboard machine to the vehicle side unit when determining that the user is moving. The vehicle side unit controls the onboard machine when receiving the request signal by a receiver 103.
